Quote For This Week's Issue:
“Most of you will fail, disrespected, impoverished, but we are grateful for the risks you are taking and sacrifices you are making for he sake of the economic growth of the planet and pulling others out of poverty. You are the source of our anti-fragility. Our nation thanks you.”
- Nassim Taleb, Antifragile
Why I Do It:
Statistically, as an Entrepreneur, you will work harder and longer hours, and earn less money than someone in a salaried job. The reasons why are many and varied, which is what I will explore with you in Commentary on Wealth.
One core issue is that Entrepreneurs aren’t building anything of value. That is not because they don’t want to or can’t, it’s that they don’t know how.
The wealth system in the world is not created for you. Just like any product - and financial advice is a product, not a science - it was created for mass market consumption. It appeals to the majority who are salaried employees working for someone else.
You are different. Obviously. You figured that out a long time ago. Maybe in elementary school when you were the kid in the back of the room eating paste. Or maybe as a high schooler who wanted to know why the rule was there before they would follow it. Or maybe in college when you asked if your professors were so smart, why they didn’t prove it in the real world. Or, maybe, you grew so frustrated with a problem you saw in the world you decided you would have to solve it because no one else was going to do it.
No more.
It’s time to change this.
I created The Sovereign Entrepreneur (Who we are as a movement), Commentary On Wealth (this newsletter), the Entrepreneurial Wealth Codex (Our personalized wealth strategy for business owners), and the Chief Wealth Officer (The only hire 100% dedicated to making business owners wealthy) in order to free you from the chaos and uncertainty of your business by helping you build true Wealth.
In Commentary on Wealth, I’ll be sharing my insights, research and tactics on how entrepreneurs like you can not only build a successful business, but also build wealth.
Your Super Bowl Ring:
My goal for you is not just to increase the profitability of your business, help you pay less in taxes, finally be organized, decrease the chaos, protect your profits and create non-business cashflow - although I do all those things for you.
My real goal is for you to win the Super Bowl.
In sports, the only thing we know for sure is that even the best players will retire the worst in the league. Time comes for all of us.
But long after the GOAT (greatest of all time) retires, no one talks about how bad their last game was. Or what the record was in their last season. Take Joe Montana, he was cut from the Chiefs before he retired. Cut. And that was before the Chiefs were any good.
But no one on Sports Center talks about that. All that is talked about are what? Thats right, the championships. Once a champion, always a champion.
But the world of entrepreneurship is not the same as sports. When an entrepreneur builds a successful business, but then due to any number of factors that business fails, what gets talked about on the news or among their friends and acquaintances? Not how amazing it was that the business got built, or all the good it did, but just the fact that it failed.
It is possible to create wealth in a way that even if your business fails, you still walk away a champion. I have codified exactly how to do it in the Entrepreneurial Wealth Code and I’ll be sharing those principles and tactics in this Commentary On Wealth newsletter through the weeks.
Why Reading And Writing:
I am writing rather than producing short form video on Tik Tok because I believe that in order to be wealthy, you have to slow down. You have to think. And you have to do it well.
Writing - along with reading and comprehending it - is the absolutely best way to improve your thinking process. It forces simplicity. It forces clarity. It makes you think better.
So this is partly for me to improve my thinking so I can improve my business, my products, and the lives of my clients.
But for you, this is important because it will allow you to wrestle with these ideas and have them actually sink in and change how you think. The Commentary will challenge you. I won’t be writing at a 3rd grade level because you are smarter than that (or if you aren’t, you need to be). And I won’t be apologizing about it.
Skin In The Game:
Aristotle said the definition of a free man is one who is free with his opinions - as a side effect of being free with his time. Nassim Table said “He is free who owns his opinion.”
All businesses are incentivized by income and profit. Dollars follow value and profit is the tool of validation. So all value has to be validated by those who pay. Even non-profits are incentivized by those who donate.
The Commentary will be written through the lens of an entrepreneur.
Not a Wall Street suit.
Not a politician.
Not a content creator.
They are all paid by someone other than the person who is taking the action.
So who pays me? You.
I have chosen to write the Commentary because I want to own my opinion and be accountable only to the reader. Rather than create a YouTube channel I could monetize (as long as my content feeds the algorithm), become a viral social media profile (and never say anything not approved by fact checkers) or syndicate this newsletter with ads or partnerships, I choose to own the platform and thus my opinion.
You pay with attention and hopefully someday you’ll hire me to help make you wealthy.
So this is for you.
I only build products that serve entrepreneurs. Because that’s who I am and that’s who I believe will change the world.
And my goal is to free you from the chaos and uncertainty of your business by helping you build true Wealth.
Wealth that will make you Untouchable.
Wealth that will free you, and not so you can quit, but so you can go 10x.
10x your impact. 10x your life. 10x society. 10x the world.
I am "grateful for the risks you are taking and sacrifices you are making for the sake of the economic growth of the planet and pulling others out of poverty. You are the source of our anti-fragility." I thank you.
